Are you passionate about agricultural innovation, environmental sustainability, and food security? The Erasmus Mundus PlantHealth Joint Master Degree offers an opportunity to build your expertise while studying across European partner universities.
This two-year programme trains future researchers and policymakers to address global challenges and protect crop systems. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships are funded by the European Union and are awarded to selected applicants through the programme's competitive application process.
Why Choose the PlantHealth Master's Programme?
The programme is delivered by a consortium of European universities and agricultural institutions:
- Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain)
- University of Göttingen (Germany)
- University of Padova (Italy)
- Institut Agro Montpellier (France)
Students follow a mobility track across at least two countries, with opportunities for practical field and laboratory work and an internship. The programme awards a double diploma.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The Erasmus Mundus scholarship provides selected students with:
- Participation costs: Coverage of tuition fees, full insurance, and mandatory academic costs.
- Monthly stipend: €1,400 per month for up to 24 months.
- Living and mobility expenses: The stipend is intended to support travel, visa, installation, and living costs.
The scholarship is competitive. Check the official funding page for current terms and any restrictions before applying.

The programme accepts applicants from all nationalities. The published admission requirements include:
